Anzac Day 2021: Your guide to Dawn Services, marches and Anzac Day events across SA

South Australians will be turning out at dawn to remember the fallen at COVIDsafe services across the state on Sunday. Here’s everything you need to know.

After COVID-19 forced a nationwide shutdown of Anzac Day ceremonies last year, crowds will return to local ceremonies this Sunday – but with capacities limited.

RSL branches across SA have been busily preparing for the return of the Dawn Service, which has been observed by Australian troops, regardless of where they are in the world, since 1916.

The day has also played an integral part across communities ever since, with the exception of 2020 when the global pandemic saw the cancellation of public events for the first time in 105 years.

To help you navigate this year’s events, we brought together as much information as possible via the table below. Just enter your town, suburb or council name to find a commemorative service near you.

Please note: details of events taking place in the Adelaide Hills will be added to the table throughout the day on Thursday.
