Adelaide weather forecast: Winds, showers as conditions remain cloudy

Does this morning’s temperatures feel warmer than the usual winter chill? You’re not wrong. See Adelaide’s weather forecast for this week.

Winter is kicking off with a warm start, but there’s rain on the way.

It was a cloudy but balmy 16C degrees in the early hours of Tuesday morning but it’s going to bucket down later today.

The Bureau of Meterology predicts showers in the morning and afternoon, with solid falls of 3-15mm forecast for Adelaide.

BOM meteorologist Hannah Marsh said tempratures should reach 19C on Tuesday and more rain is on the way during the week.

On Wednesday, there is a possible chance of morning showers as weather conditions remain partly cloudy with temperatures topping 18C.

On Thursday and Friday, slightly cooler conditions will be felt in Adelaide with a chance of rain as temperatures top 17C then 16C.

The weekend will kick off with a forecast of 17C before it dips to a low of 9C.

“There’s a bit of uncertainty around that next system that we’re expecting to come through but it is looking like the showers are starting to ease as we head towards the weekend,” Ms Marsh said.
