Three people have been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in the Barossa Valley.

Traffic is moving slowly around the three-car crash reported at the intersection of Barossa Valley Way and Kings Cutting Rd at Lyndoch.

Emergency services were called to the incident about 6.30am.

Three cars, each with only one occupant, collided but all people avoided serious injuries.

A police spokesman said all three were taken to hospital.

He said traffic was “a little banked up” but was still moving towards Lyndoch.

In an unrelated incident, northbound traffic on the Southern Expressway at O’Halloran Hill is congested after a two-vehicle crash about 7.50am.

A police spokesman said there were no serious injuries but warned motorists to expect delays affecting northbound lanes.
