Adelaide taxi driver reported after early morning rollover crash

Police found the man next to his overturned car north of the city.

A taxi driver lost his licence on early Tuesday morning after crashing his car in a rollover, and then allegedly refusing to take a breath test.

Emergency services were called to Erin St, Broadview, just after 2.45am, where they found a Toyota sedan flipped on its roof.

SA Police allege the 25-year-old off-duty driver from the western suburbs crashed into three parked cars and then managed to pull himself out of the wreckage uninjured.

The man was reported for failing to answer officers’ questions, refusing a breath test and driving without due care.

He lost his licence for 12 months and will be summoned to appear in court at a later date, while his car was extensively damaged and towed away.
