The ABC’s Ali Clarke is obviously having her Weetbix each weekday morning because she’s increased her lead in the crucial brekky timeslot in the latest radio ratings.
Clarke has gained 1.7 share points to finish with 17.9, way ahead of her rivals.
FIVEaa’s duo David Penberthy and Will Goodings, who have been nominated for Best AM on-air team in the Australian Commercial Radio Awards, are in second place with 11.2, after a significant drop of 2.4.
Mix 102.3’s Erin Phillips, who is up for the Best Newcomer gong, and her brekky co-host Mark Soderstrom have retained third place with 10.7 after a dip of just 0.1.
Fourth spot went to SAFM’s Rebecca “Bec” Morse, Andrew “Cosi” Costello and Andrew “Lehmo” Lehman with 9.6 up 0.4.
It’s something of a surprise result because it’s the line-up’s best performance to date - last survey they were in sixth spot.
Triple M’s Mark Ricciuto and Chris Dittmar are in fifth place again with 9.5, up 0.1, while, in another shock, Nova 919’s Ben Stapleton and Liam Harvey have traded places with the SAFM crew.
The Ben & Liam show finished fourth last survey but is now in sixth spot with 8.8 after a loss of 1.3.
Nova’s new Jodie Oddy Show appears to be doing well. While the survey results for weekends encompass all timeslots, Nova has recorded a gain of 1.1 to finished with 9.9.
That puts the station in fourth spot behind the Mix (13.9), Cruise (11.3) and the ABC (10.6).
Nova was previously in fifth place behind FIVEaa, which has fallen to seventh spot this survey. SAFM and Triple M are in fifth and sixth places.
Mix is still Adelaide’s favourite station with 13.8 (down 0.1), followed by the ABC on 12.3 (up 0.1) and easy listening AM station Cruise 1323 unchanged on 9.9.
