Adelaide Oval lifts price of menu staples including beer, soft drink and hot chips
PRICES are on the rise at Adelaide Oval … again. The price of a full strength beer is now $9.50 while a bottle of water is now $5.10.
THE price of a full strength beer has increased to $9.50 at the Adelaide Oval as the cricket season kicks into gear.
The Stadium Management Authority announced a 1.5 per cent price increase across the board on Thursday.
This means a 10-20 cent increase of oval staples such as beer, soft drink and hot chips.
A round of four beers and a bucket of hot chips is now almost $50.
Adelaide Oval operations and commercial general manager Darren Chandler said the
increase was part of an annual review of pricing at the stadium.
“This move is reflective of increases in the cost of supplied goods, wages and operational
expenses and is below the Adelaide CPI,” Mr Chandler said.
“As always, patrons are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages when
coming to events at Adelaide Oval and we continue to provide free water at outlets throughout
the stadium.”
