Adelaide identity Hugh Sheridan introduced Rebel Wilson to Ramona Agruma
Aussie star Rebel Wilson has come out at 42 and introduced her new girlfriend. Now the friend who played matchmaker has been revealed – and they are from Adelaide.

One of South Australia’s most-loved entertainers, Hugh Sheridan is the “friend” who introduced Rebel Wilson to her girlfriend Ramona Agruma.
Adelaide-born entertainer Sheridan, who identifies as non-binary, took to Instagram to out themselves as the one who played matchmaker.
Sheridan posted images of themself with Hollywood star Wilson and Agruma, plus a snapshot of the couple looking cosy on a plane.
“My two best friends ;) call me c-hupid,” Sheridan captioned the post, adding “#genius”.
Sheridan shared the news with their followers a couple of hours after Wilson revealed the identity of her new love to her 11 million fans on Instagram.
LA-based, Agruma is the designer behind the “female owned, sustainable fashion brand” Lemon Ve Limon.

“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince … but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess #loveislove,” Wilson wrote.
Last month, Wilson told People magazine she was “happily” in a relationship and that she and her partner had met through a “friend”.
Sheridan, who found fame on the hit TV series Packed To The Rafters, came out as bisexual in late 2020 and non-binary last year.

Based in LA, Sheridan is one of Wilson’s strongest supporters. They were by the superstar’s side during her high-profile defamation trial against the publisher of Woman’s Day magazine.
Sheridan also took on the role of personal trainer during Wilson’s “year of health” in 2020, again sharing pics on Instagram.
