Adelaide freezes through record cold September morning
One of Adelaide’s weather stations has recorded its coldest ever September morning on record with data dating back over 100 years.

Adelaide has recorded its coldest September morning ever on Tuesday with South Australians freezing through subzero temperatures across the state.
The West Tce weather station recorded 1.3C at 5.40am this morning, making it the coldest September morning recorded in over 100 years of data.
It comes as both metropolitan and regional areas battled morning frost with reports of icy frost in the Mallee, the Murraylands and in Adelaide’s suburbs.
Temperatures were below zero across the state on Tuesday morning with Nuriootpa recording -1.1C at 6.30am, Kadina -1.6C at 6am and Keith -1.1C at 3am.
It got as low as -1.8C Cummins Airport and -1.4C at Snowtown.
Despite the cold and icy start to the morning, Adelaide is set for a sunny day with a top of 19C with light winds.
The sunny conditions will carry into Wednesday with a top of 22C tipped before a chance of showers on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a top of 17C predicted.
