A man and a woman have been arrested after trespassing on a premise under demolition at Woodville South.

On Tuesday at around 9.10pm, police were alerted by a good Samaritan of a group of people acting suspiciously near a business on the corner of Port Road and Oval Ave.

The caller observed four people and was able to keep the suspects under observation from a distance while police travelled to the location.

Patrols quickly arrived at the scene, but were only able to locate a man and a woman inside.

Police dog – PD Rusty – was also unable to track the other two suspects.

A 48-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, both from Northfield, were arrested and charged with being unlawfully on premises.

The man was also charged with a breach of bail.

They have been bailed to appear at the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on March 20.

Police will continue their investigation into the other two suspects but asks anyone with relevant information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
