A fire has broken out at the Pagoda Chinese Restaurant in Frewville
A restaurant in Frewville has gone up in flames with the 70-year-old owner rushed to hospital.

A fire ripped through the Pagoda Chinese Restaurant at Frewville Thursday evening, with the owner rushed to hospital.
Emergency services were called to Glen Osmond Rd just after 4.30pm after reports smoke was coming through the restaurant’s roof.
The fire had reportedly sparked in the kitchen.
The owner of the restaurant, a 70-year-old, who had tried to put out the blaze by using a fire extinguisher sustained minor burns.
He was treated at the scene before being transferred to hospital.
All other employees managed to evacuate from the building before fire crews arrived without sustaining injuries.
Fire crews managed to contain and fully extinguish the blaze within 30 minutes.
Fire Investigators will be attending the scene to further examine the cause of the fire, with an early estimation of the damage bill set at $40,000.
Traffic restrictions were in place on Glen Osmond Rd – during the morning peak hour – but have since been cleared.
