A 28-year-old man has been bailed after being arrested for child sex offences.
Detectives from SA Police Special Crime Investigation Section arrested the eastern suburbs man on Thursday, for allegedly possessing child exploitation material.
He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on October 4.
Police have urged the public to remember that trading, downloading and accessing Child Exploitation Material is not a victimless crime, as every image depicts a child being abused and these actions perpetuate the abuse.
Anyone with information about people involved in child exploitation is urged to contact crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
In an unrelated incident, a southern suburbs man was arrested over an alleged rape in a ride share car that occurred on Sunday at Hallett Cove.
Police did not release further information about the victim, or the circumstances that led up to the alleged rape.
The 36-year-old man was bailed to face the Adelaide Magistrates Court on September 27.
