An Adelaide teenager has been arrested and charged over alleged threats to kill his classmates.

The 15-year-old was charged after police searched his home and allegedly found a gun and a “hit list” of potential targets, 7 News reported.

The boy is reportedly a student at an Adelaide Hills high school, where fellow students he allegedly planned to kill attend.

The incident was reported to police on Wednesday before the teen faced the Adelaide Youth Court on Thursday.

He was charged with making threats to kill or endanger life.

He was reportedly released on bail with a number of strict conditions, including not contacting a number of fellow students.

The boy is set to face the Youth Court again in June.

An SA Police spokeswoman said Hills Fleurieu detectives had arrested the boy after an investigation.

It comes after a March incident where two other teenagers, aged 17 and 15, were arrested and charged with a range of serious offences, including conspiracy to commit murder.

Police attended a home at Huntfield Heights where they arrested a 17-year-old.

They seized a knife and electronic equipment from the home.

The 17-year-old has been charged with conspiracy to murder, possession of an object with intent to kill or endanger life, possession of a prohibited weapon and assault.

The following day, on March 4, police attended a Park Holme address and arrested a 15-year-old boy.

Police seized electronic equipment from the address.

The 15-year-old boy was charged with conspiracy to commit murder and was refused bail.

The same day, police arrested a 20-year-old man at a Kilburn address where they seized electronic equipment also.

He has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and was refused bail.

Conspiracy to murder charges against the 15-year-old and 20-year-old were dropped, however the 17-year-old still faces that charge as well as others for other offending.

SA Police said the trio’s arrests and charges were not linked to the Adelaide Hills schoolboy’s arrest.

In January, another 17-year-old was arrested by STAR Group officers on Rundle St.

Court documents alleged he had knives, lighters and the components to make at least two molotov cocktails.

“He told police that he had been planning to kill as many people as possible in a single incident, which would result in his notoriety after the event,” the documents alleged.
