Snowy Carter won't sing at Carols by Candlelight
JASON "Snowy" Carter's not about to break out into carols, no matter how Christmassy he feels.
JASON "Snowy" Carter's not about to break out into carols, no matter how Christmassy he feels.
As a cohost of this year's The Advertiser Adelaide City Council Carols by Candlelight, he may have been expected to join in the festive cheer and belt out a song or two.
But the Mix 102.3 brekkie presenter admits his singing voice needs work. "I think I'll leave the singing to the professionals," Carter said.
"We all get to sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas at the end of the night and my microphone is switched off."
Carter will join more than 35,000 revellers at Elder Park on December 18 for the traditional community celebration.
Other hosts are The Advertiser's Rod Savage and Channel 7's Jane Doyle. Rhonda Burchmore is the headline act.
Entry is by gold coin donation. All proceeds go to the Cora Barclay Centre, Novita Children's Services and the Women's and Children's Hospital Foundation.
