It’s a mystery to rank up there with the pyramids of Egypt. The great corflute pyramid of Hindmarsh Square, featuring the features of Liberal candidates from all over town.
Unfortunately, unlike their Egyptian counterparts, the Great Pyramid of Hindmarsh Square won’t last thousands of years and be admired from near and far.
No sooner was it up than Defence Industries Minister Christopher Pyne leapt into action to tear down Adelaide’s latest, and briefest, landmark.
Naturally, Pyne assumed the dastardly Labor Party was behind this nefarious night’s work, but it could equally have been a new Fringe installation, open for one night only.
Pyne did see it as a tribute to Torrens candidate Therese Kenny.
“Thanks to whomever created the Therese Tower of Strength overnight. She will bring that same strength to standing up for Torrens!”
Although, presumably Pyne will want Kenny to last longer than her pyramid.
