Cowboys star Reuben Cotter and wife Mackenzie have announced they are expecting their third child, posting an adorable photo to their Instagram accounts.
Posting a photo of Ms Cotter’s baby bump and their two kids with a sonogram on Sunday afternoon, comments of congratulations came from Cowboys teammate Scott Drinkwater and former teammates Chad Townsend and Kyle Feldt.
The post featured the caption ‘See you soon”, with no details of the new bub’s due date or gender.
The couple welcomed their second child Banks Marcel on June 7 last year, just days after dad Reuben played a key role in winning Game 1 of the State of Origin series.
Their first child, a daughter named Sunny James, was born on June 11 2022, three days after Reuben’s State of Origin debut.
The Cotters married in October 2023 at a lavish ceremony at The Ville Resort and Casino.
Reuben, who is contracted to play with the North Queensland Cowboys until the end of the 2025, was crowned the 2024 Phillips Sports Dad of the Year in September.
As part of his win $5000 was donated to the Brighter Lives Foundation at Townsville University Hospital, with Cotter matching the donation to give $10,000 in total.
