A parent's worst nightmare came true for a southwest Queensland family when their young son was found unresponsive in a spa bath on Anzac Day.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics were called to a private address in Glen Niven, north of Stanthorpe after reports the boy suffered a medical episode while in a spa bath, which was used for hydrotherapy, about 2.20pm.
Sadly, the 11-year-old boy died at the scene.
Police are treating the incident as non-suspicious.
