Man killed in lawnmower incident at Preston, south of Toowoomba

A man has died in regional Queensland after he was involved in a horror lawnmower incident.

A man has died after suffering critical injuries in a lawnmower incident at Preston, south of Toowoomba.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said crews were called to an address on Preston Boundary Rd shortly after 2pm on Monday.

They arrived to find a man who had suffered critical injuries after an incident with a lawnmower.

Paramedics are working to stabilise the man and LifeFlight rescue chopper has been called in to help with the transport.

Sadly the man could not be saved and he died at the scene.

Officers from the Queensland Police Service Forensic Crash Unit are on the scene and the matter will be referred to Work Safety Queensland.
