Goondiwindi pedestrian hit: Woman to face drink driving charges
A 26-year-old woman has been charged with drink driving after she allegedly struck a pedestrian with her vehicle in the states southwest.

A 26-year-old Billa Billa woman will face court for driving over the alcohol limit after having allegedly struck a pedestrian on a Goondiwindi street.
Paramedics were called to the incident on Russell St around 9pm on Thursday, where they assessed a 35-year-old Billa Billa man for back pain.
The man was later taken to Goondiwindi Hospital for further treatment.
Queensland Police also attended the incident, where they charged the 26-year-old woman for drink driving.
The circumstances leading up to the incident are unclear.
The woman will face Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on August 27.
