Firefighters cut patient free after South Toowoomba crash
Firefighters were forced to use hydraulic equipment to cut a person out of a car after a crash along a busy Toowoomba street.

Firefighters were called to cut a patient free of a wreck after two cars collided at the intersection of Kitchener and James streets in South Toowoomba.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said emergency services responded to the crash about 8.40am on Thursday and arrived to find one person was unable to exit their vehicle.
The crew used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the driver’s door.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the two patients for minor injuries and transported them to the Toowoomba Hospital in stable conditions.
Police will investigate the cause.
