Police are appealing for information after a serious three-vehicle crash involving two trucks and a ute west of Bundaberg this morning.
Emergency services were called to Gin Gin Rd near Henricksens Rd at Sharon just after 7am on Friday, June 20, following reports of a collision involving a Mack tip truck, a HINO Ranger flatbed truck towing a trailer, and a white Toyota Hilux.
Initial investigations suggest the two trucks, which were travelling in opposite directions, collided — before the Mack tip truck struck the Hilux.
All three drivers were taken to Bundaberg Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said one of the drivers had initially been trapped in their vehicle and was believed to have suffered a shoulder injury. Another man reportedly suffered a knee injury.
Earlier alerts from Transport and Main Roads warned drivers of delays and lane closures outbound towards Manoo, with authorities urging caution along the busy stretch near Sharon Davis Road.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the vehicles were later cleared from the road and traffic impacts had eased.
Police are now asking any witnesses, or anyone with dash cam footage from the area at the time, to contact them as investigations continue.
