Yamanto Central stabbing attack: Teen in custody, woman injured
Emergency services have been called to a stabbing in an Ipswich shopping centre, with a teenage boy taken into custody.

A 13-year-old boy has been taken into custody and a 63-year-old woman transported to hospital following a stabbing attack at an Ipswich shopping centre.
The incident happened at Yamanto Central about 5.25pm on Monday.
The victim was reportedly a Coles supermarket employee. The company was assisting police in their investigation.
An ambulance spokeswoman said the woman was transported to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.
It is understood the shopping centre was put in lockdown.
