A teenager and an 18-year-old have been charged in relation to several break ins and attempted break ins which occurred in North Brisbane over several days.

Earlier this week police were investigating a number of incidents including a string of break ins on Racecourse Rd at Ascot on Wednesday, with CCTV footage showing hooded men, some wearing thongs, wielding an axe and smashing their way into the businesses.

It will be alleged these incidents were linked to multiple break ins and attempted break ins across Eagle Farm, Deagon, Pinkenba, Lutwyche and Hamilton between October 13 and 16, with police hunting for two white Ford Falcons.

Following a tip off from a member of the public regarding a location of one of the vehicles, Polair, Hendra Criminal Investigation Branch, and Crestmead Property Team arrested the two men at a Park Ridge address on October 17.

Police seized several items allegedly linked to the string of break ins at the address.

A 16-year-old Kingston boy has been charged with 18 counts of enter premises with intent/commit, two counts of receiving tainted property obtained by way of a crime, and one count of fraud.
