Terrifying footage has emerged of a man armed with a metal rod demanding cash from a petrol station employee, with police appealing to the public to help identify him.
Police allege the man entered the petrol station on Logan Road at Underwood armed with a metal rod before demanding cash from the employee about 9pm on May 9.
In footage released by police, the man can be seen pointing to the register while covering his face with a black and white t-shirt.
The man then follows the woman to the register while talking to her.
He is described as Caucasian with a solid build, approximately 175cm tall and was wearing grey shorts with a white stripe and a grey cap.
No one was injured and the man fled south on Logan Road with a quantity of cash.
Anyone with relevant information is being urged to contact police.
