Police are investigating after a Logan tobacconist was ram raided early on Wednesday morning in the latest incident targeting South East Qld businesses.

Police were called to a tobacconist on Brisbane Street in Jimboomba about 3.20am following reports a silver Ford Falcon had been driven into the store.

The vehicle, along with its occupants, then left the scene.

Nobody was injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.

It comes after a dozen arson attacks believed to be linked to the ­illegal tobacco trade were investigated by Queensland police in the past year alone.
