Sunshine Coast traffic: Motorcyclist killed in Crohamhurst crash
A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a Nissan Patrol in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. It comes after news of another fatality in the region, and multiple crashes in the wet.

A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a Nissan Patrol in the Sunshine Coast hinterland on Sunday afternoon.
Police said just after 5pm, a green Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling on Bretons Road at Crohamhurst when it crashed into the gold Nissan Patrol.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 49-year-old Crohamhurst man, died at the scene.
A 22-year-old Peachester woman, the driver and sole occupant of the Nissan, was not physically injured.
The Sunshine Coast Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and is appealing to any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to come forward
Earlier it was reported the rider sustained severe chest, abdominal, and pelvic injuries as well as a significant leg injury.
A Queensland ambulance spokeswoman said at the time the man was assessed on the scene and was waiting to be transported to hospital.
On Saturday, police reported a man had died following a horror single-car crash on a busy Sunshine Coast road at Peregian Springs last week.
The driver, a 20-year-old Sippy Downs man, was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, where he died as result of his injuries.
The heavy rain also resulted in a spate of crashes on the Coast on Saturday afternoon.
In Tanawha, a truck carrying a bobcat overturned.
