A man is in a critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle on a suburban street north of Brisbane.

A man is in a critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle north of Brisbane this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a reported vehicle and pedestrian collision at Portwood St, Redcliffe at 4.16pm.
It is understood that a vehicle has collided with the man and potentially pushed him into another vehicle.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, paramedics assessed a man in his 50s at the scene with a significant head injury before he was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition.
