Moment Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson took over Cairns cafe

US superstars Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have been spotted in a far north Queensland cafe. Or have they? After a Cairns cafe manager claimed a visit by the pair, doubts have now emerged about whether it really occurred.

Doubts have emerged about the alleged far north Queensland holiday of global superstar Kim Kardashian.

A Cairns cafe manager told the ABC this week that US superstars Kardashian and Pete Davidson turned up unannounced at the suburban eatery for breakfast.

But there are now suggestions that while Davidson has visited Queensland’s tropics, Kardashian has not made her way to Australia.

The Daily Mail has reported today that Kardashian is still in the US with her kids, pictured in LA just hours before she was alleged to have popped in for brunch in FNQ.

A spokesman for Davidson told The Daily Mail that he is in Australia without Kardashian.

And tourism sources have weighed in, saying scenic beaches posted on the couple’s Instagram feeds did not look familiar as Queensland destinations.

It is understood Orlando Bloom and his partner Katy Perry arrived in Cairns on a private jet last week.

Matt Black, the manager of Edge Hill’s Botanica cafe Bar Kitchen, said that a security team arrived ahead of the couple to scout out the menu on Thursday morning.

“They sent their security detail in, and they had a little look at the menu, then asked if we had room for a couple of private guests, who are hoping to take over the inside,” Mr Black told the ABC.

“Sure enough, in walked bloody Kimmy K and Pete Davidson.”

Attempts to contact Mr Black this morning have been unsuccessful.

He told media his staff were asked to put their phones on the cafe’s counter, presumably to prevent any unwanted pictures of the couple while they ate.

Although the security detail also asked cafe’s staff to keep any CCTV that may have recorded the couple private, Mr Black said that the event was a “relatively casual process.”

“There was just me and my barista, and to be honest, he didn‘t know who they were, he’s really out of the loop with that sort of stuff.”

“I took them through, asked them what they were doing, they were very chilled out, super cool and respectful.”

The couple reportedly chose to eat at the Botanica cafe Bar Kitchen after a member of their team saw an article in a Qantas magazine, claiming that the cafe offered one of the best breakfasts in Cairns.

Botanica offers a range of breakfast options, spanning from a traditional avocado on toast to the Botanica Bowl, which comprised fermented vegetables and chips.

As for what the Hollywood superstars ate, well, we’ll never know.

“They asked me to keep that hush, hush, but they absolutely loved it,” Mr Black said.

The couple are enjoying a sun-soaked holiday in the Cairns region while Davidson films scenes for Hollywood comedy, Wizards!, which is being filmed in the far north over the coming months.

Bedarra Island is reportedly hosting the couple, although the Island refused to comment.

Ms Kardashian has shared a number of photos on Instagram, showing the couple swimming and kayaking in crystal clear tropical waters.
