An elderly man has suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a truck outside a Brisbane hospital.

A pedestrian in his 80s is fighting for life after he was hit by a large truck outside the Wesley Hospital on Friday morning.
Emergency services rushed to the car and pedestrian incident on Chaseley Street about 6.15am.
The man in his 80s was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is expected to attend the scene later in the morning.
