Boy found dead after going missing at Cedar Creek Falls in Gold Coast Hinterland
The shattered mother of Aiden Braumann, the 13-year-old who drowned at Cedar Creek Falls on Thursday, has left a moving tribute for her son on social media.

Tributes are flowing for the 13-year-old boy who drowned at a popular swimming hole Thursday afternoon.
Aiden Braumann was swimming with friends at Cedar Creek Falls when they got into trouble. One of the boys was able to get back to shore and call for help.
The body of a 13-year-old boy was found late Thursday afternoon by police.
Aiden’s mother Sherry Carroll paid tribute to her son, describing him as a “very active, loving boy”.
“This is the hardest thing and don’t know how I’m going to get through it, my son Aiden Braumann. I love you so much,” she said.
Mrs Carroll said she would miss “everything about him” especially being able to hold him and talk to him.
Aiden’s aunty Samara took to social media to thank people for their kind words after the search came to a “shattering end”.
Friend Maryam Sharry said Aiden was her “old school close friend and we will all miss him”.

Police divers entered the water about 9pm and with the help of swift water rescue teams found the teen's body just after 10pm.
Police said initial investigations found the boy and a friend were swimming at the popular swimming spot under adult supervision when they both got in trouble about 4.45pm.
Police last night thanked fire and ambulance crews for their help in the search and recover mission.
