Elderly man dies after serious crash at Johnson Rd, Parkinson in Brisbane’s south

An elderly man has died and a woman has suffered serious injuries after a horror three-car crash in Brisbane’s south on Wednesday afternoon.

A Forest Lakes man has died after a three vehicle crash in Larapinta on Wednesday.

Around 12pm a white Kia Seltos lost control on Johnson Road and crashed into a white Renault van and a MG ZST travelling in the opposite direction.

The passenger of the Kia, a 76 year old Forest Lakes man was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition and has since died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver, a 77 year old Forest Lakes woman was also transported to the same hospital and remains in a serious condition.

The driver of the van, a 25 year old Forest Lakes man, and the MG driver, a 25 year old Greenbank woman were both transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for information from witnesses as investigations are ongoing.
