A second victim has been identified after a horrific crash claimed three lives in the North Burnett last week.

Kendall Daisy Coppard has been identified as the second victim involved in the May 26 crash.

Cydoni Hill, 18, was killed when a red Ford Laser and a grey Mitsubishi Lancer travelling in opposite directions on the Burnett Highway near the intersection of A Creek Road collided.

The driver and sole occupant of the Ford, a 42-year-old Cracow woman, was declared dead at the scene.

Two occupants of the Mitsubishi, Ms Hill and Ms Coppard, 25, also from the North Burnett, were also declared dead at the scene.

A memorial gathering will be held for Ms Hill and Ms Coppard at the Mundubbera Baptist Hall on Tuesday, June 3, from 6.30pm to 9pm.

Those attending have been asked to bring a plate to share and no alcohol, as it is not a licensed venue.

“Fly high beautiful girl,” Maddy Keiler wrote in a heartbreaking tribute for Ms Hill.

“Your joy, your smile, your bubble personality.

Speaking to reporters in Bundaberg the day after the crash, Acting Superintendent Brad Inskip said it may have been caused by one car veering into oncoming traffic.

“It’s early days but it appears that one vehicle may have crossed over to the wrong side of the road, but we are unsure.

“Police are asking for assistance from the community who may have witnessed the incident or just before and if they are able to provide any dashcam footage.”

There was no evidence that either of the drivers were under the influence.

All three victims were from the North Burnett area, and police had spoken to the council to “look for opportunities” to support people in the community who may be struggling through this “tough time”.
