A man has been charged after allegedly assaulting a woman as she walked her dog in Brisbane’s northwest in June.
Detectives and police allege a 23-year-old woman was approached by a 22-year-old man while she was walking her dog on Hogarth Rd, Ferny Grove, between 3.50pm to 4pm on June 19.
It is understood the man spoke with the woman before he allegedly indecently assaulted her and fled on foot.
A manhunt and public appeal for information and dashcam footage ultimately led to a search warrant being executed at an address in Brisbane’s inner west and the man’s arrest on July 19.
A 22-year-old Brisbane inner-west man was charged with one count of sexual assault.
He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 15.
