Brisbane 2032 venues list: Victoria Park confirmed for ceremonies, athletics

A new 63,000-seat stadium at Victoria Park is in, there will be a new national aquatics centre, and a surprise new arena as the final 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games venues are revealed.

A new 63,000-seat stadium at Victoria Park is in as the final 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games venues and infrastructure plan is revealed.

Premier David Crisafulli and Deputy Premier and Infrastructure Minister Jarrod Bleijie unveiled the highly-anticipated outcomes of the independent panel’s 100-day review at The Courier-Mail’s Future Brisbane event on Tuesday.

Events in 2032 will be hosted across the southeast and as far as North Queensland in a mix of new, existing and upgraded venues.

The final make-up of sports will be confirmed next year.

Here is the full list of infrastructure and where every event we know so far will be hosted.

CONFIRMED VENUES FOR THE 2032 OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC GAMES

OPENING AND CLOSING CEREMONIES, ATHLETICS: Brisbane Stadium at Victoria Park, with 63,000 seats planned at an estimated cost of $3.78bn, excluding associated precinct and transport infrastructure costs.

The main stadium will be at Victoria Park.

SWIMMING DIVING, WATER POLO AND ARTISTIC: New $650m aquatic centre at the existing Centenary Pool at Spring Hill
