A 22-year-old man found semi-submerged among the reeds by police dogs following the fatal shooting of a man at Beenleigh has been charged with murder.
Paul Tagirara, of Beenleigh, has been charged with one count of murder after a 35-year-old Bahrs Scrub man received a gunshot wound to his chest at Hugh Muntz Park on December 2.
Tagirara has also been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, and receiving tainted property, and his matter was mentioned in Beenleigh Magistrates court on December 4.
He is scheduled to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates court later this afternoon.
