A series of chilling videos depicting the terror of the Wieambilla massacre have shown some of the final moments shared between officers before they were ambushed by murderous extremists.
The three videos - two body-cam videos and one iPhone video - have been released by the Queensland Coroners Court after being played at the inquest into the murders of Constable Rachel McCrow, Constable Matthew Arnold and neighbour Alan Dare on December 12, 2022.
The two police officers and Mr Dare were gunned down by Gareth, Nathaniel and Stacey Train - a trio of conspiracy theorists who hated police - after police attended their Wieambilla property.
Two other officers who also attended - Constable Keely Brough and Constable Randall Kirk - survived the ambush.
Constable Kirk’s body-worn camera footage captured the entire ordeal.

NO IDEA WHAT THEY’RE WALKING INTO
The four officers talk casually and laugh about their time on the job as they walk down the driveway of the Trains’ property and into an ambush.
Constable McCrow introduces herself to Constable Brough, who she’s never met before, with Constable Kirk telling the group she’s just a few weeks into the job.
They share a laugh together, unaware two of them are about to be murdered.
LAST TIME RACHEL’S VOICE IS HEARD
As they walk further down the first driveway, Constable Kirk asks the group: “did you see there’s an arrest warrant for this fella?”.
Nathaniel Train was wanted for breaching Queensland Covid-19 restrictions months earlier and dumping a load of guns over the border from New South Wales.
Constable McCrow asks Constable Kirk about the warrant casually, saying “is it just for the Covid stuff?”.
It’s the last time her voice is heard before the video stops and the Trains open fire.
COP’S HARROWING PHONE CALL FOR HELP
Constable Kirk lays in a small patch of long grass as shots ring out around him, trying to hide himself as he is hunted by the Trains.
He makes a call to Acting Sergeant Justin Drier when his radio fails, desperately saying “hello? Hello? Hello?” down the patchy line.
Finally, Sergeant Drier hears him and asks what is happening.
“He’s shot Rachel,” constable Kirk says, calm and composed.
Sergeant Drier cannot hide his shock, saying “oh f–k”.
It’s the moment when police first learn officers have been murdered.
THEY’VE GOT MATTHEW’S GUN
Constable Kirk remains crouched down in grass as he continues his phone call with Sergeant Drier.
He then watches Gareth Train callously take the glock from Constable Arnold’s lifeless body, and has no idea where Constable Brough is.
“There’s two of them… they’ve got Matthew’s gun now, f–k sake.
“Matt’s not moving, Rachel’s not moving, and Keely I haven’t seen.”
WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?
The chilling moment one of the Trains yells out to Constable Kirk and Constable Brough is caught on camera.
A few minutes after they have murdered Constable Arnold and Constable McCrow, Constable Kirk sees them walking closer to his hiding spot.
He asks his boss what he should do, when one of the Trains can be heard yelling out to the officers from some distance away.
RUN! RUN!
After several minutes hiding in scrub, Constable Kirk’s cover is blown. The Trains know where he is and they start to close in.
Gun in one hand, mobile phone in the other, Constable Kirk makes a decision which will save his life.
He makes a frantic sprint towards the front of the Train’s property.
Gun shots ring out around him and he falls through scrub and onto the ground just a few metres from the front gate.
THEY’RE COMING, THEY’RE SHOOTING
7. Constable Kirk gets to his feet and sprints the remaining few metres to the gate, leaping over it as five shots ring out.
“They’re coming, they’re shooting,” he says.
He falls to his knees as he scrambles towards the car as more shots are fired at him.
Finally he unlocks the door and jumps in, breathing heavily.
F--K, I THINK I’VE BEEN SHOT
8. Constable Kirk starts the engine, but the Trains have closed in.
He has to reverse the police car before he can get away, coming front-on with the Trains as they fire two shots straight through the windscreen.
Constable Kirk shouts as he puts the car in drive and accelerates forward, as two more shots are fired at the car, including one which shatters the passenger window.
“F–k, I think I’ve been shot, ah f–k”.
ARE YOU STILL THERE BUDDY?
9. Now fleeing the property, Constable Kirk is deafened by the noise of the gun shots as he desperately makes a phone call for help.
“Hello?,” he says desperately as he gasps for air, but he can’t hear a response.
The seatbelt signal beeps in the background as he flees for his life.
Finally, a voice on the other end says “are you there buddy?”.
He is safe.
NEIGHBOUR’S FIRST SIGHTING OF HIS KILLERS
10. It’s the moment Alan Dare spots the people who will murder him.
Neighbour Alan Dare - who has driven to the front of the Train’s property to inspect a car fire - sees a vehicle driving towards him from inside the property.
“There’s a car driving off, there’s a car coming,” he says.
“There’s a car over there and someone at the door.”

11. Just moments later, Mr Dare realises something is wrong.
His neighbour spots police tape in the burning wreck, but they don’t realise that it’s a police vehicle which has been set alight by the Trains.
Mr Dare walks closer towards the front gate, talking to his neighbour as he films what would be his last moments alive.
