A Porsche driver who allegedly filmed a dying police officer after a horrific Eastern Freeway crash has sold six homes in four months worth a combined total close to $6m.

Richard Pusey is facing a string of charges in relation to the tragic incident in which the officers had pulled him over for allegedly speeding, but were hit by a truck that veered into the emergency lane.

The mortgage broker this month finished selling the properties in a 6 Champion Street, Doncaster East, development from behind bars after a late December incident at his Fitzroy home.

The sales totalled at $2.99m, including a $1.055m sale for No. 1 in November last year, a $983,000 sale for No. 3 early this month and $953,800 for the final home at No. 2 a week ago.

He and wife Anh Truong have also sold units one and two at 754 Whitehorse Road, Mitcham. No. 1 sold for $830,000 in December, while No. 2 made $680,000 in January.

A luxury five-bedroom townhouse at 1/6 Koonung Court, Doncaster, sold in December last year. It had a $1.3-$1.4m asking price, but the sale figure was undisclosed.

If sold in the range it brings the total to between $5.8m and $5.9m.

Real estate agents involved in the sales were not able to comment.

A second luxury townhouse with five bedrooms at 2/6 Koonung Court, Doncaster, is still for sale with a $1.4-$1.5m asking price, while a six-apartment complex in Fyans Street, Geelong South, is up for grabs at $1.7-$1.8m after it passed in at auction on a $1.75m vendor bid in December last year.

Records indicate that at the time of the Eastern Freeway crash in April last year Pusey and his wife had an about $12m property portfolio, including a Fitzroy warehouse conversion stormed by police in late December after Pusey was heard allegedly “raving” from the rooftop.

Following that incident he was charged with threats to kill, false imprisonment, assault and contravening bail conditions.

Police have alleged he placed a noose around a woman’s neck and he is currently in custody.

Prior to the December charges, Mr Pusey had been bailed to prepare his defence to charges stemming from the horror April crash.

Charges from the initial incident include alleged speeding and drug offences as well as outraging public decency after he allegedly filmed police dying.

Truck driver Mohinder Singh has been charged over the police officer’s deaths.
