PROSECUTORS will pursue fraud charges against Angelika Gavare even though she has already been convicted of murder.

Gavare, 35, of Christie Downs, was last month found guilty of murdering and dismembering pensioner Vonne McGlynn.

The Supreme Court found Gavare was motivated by greed when she killed Ms McGlynn, 82, wanting to sell her house and possessions for a profit.

During her trial, the court heard Gavare stole Ms McGlynn's passport and pension card, and impersonated her over the phone.

She also tried to siphon Ms McGlynn's bank account by presenting her card and a forged Power of Attorney.

In her evidence, Gavare told the court she had experience with forged documents, and had even ordered a custom-made stamp to assist her with fraud.

She said she had planned to defraud an elderly man she met prior to Ms McGlynn's death but "didn't go through with it".

She also told the court she had lost her job at a southern suburbs newsagency after being accused of stealing a customer's credit card details.

Gavare faces a mandatory term of life imprisonment for the murder but has yet to be sentenced - she has appealed against her conviction.

Today Gavare was brought, in handcuffs, to the Adelaide Magistrates Court from the Adelaide Women's Prison.

She is accused of dishonestly taking property, without the owner's consent, at Noarlunga Centre on August 23, 2008.

She is further accused of dishonestly dealing with property, without the owner's consent, at Morphett Vale on December 9, 2008 - six days after Ms McGlynn was murdered.

Gavare is also charged with one aggravated count of dishonestly dealing with documents at Christie Downs on December 10, 2008.

Today, lawyers for Gavare asked the charges be adjourned.

They said they had not been instructed to act on those matters, and had yet to receive legal aid funding on Gavare's behalf.

Prosecutors told the court the charges would be pursued.

Magistrate Alfio Grasso remanded Gavare in custody until next month.
