A teen motorcyclist is in a serious condition after a high-speed Police chase ended in a crash in Sydney’s west on Tuesday night.

Shortly before 8pm, officers attempted to stop an unregistered motorcycle travelling on Andrews Rd in Cranebrook.

According to officers, the rider, aged 19, failed to stop.

That led to a police chase, however just minutes later the rider crashed into a roundabout at high speed, throwing him off the bike.

The rider was unresponsive when he was found and was treated by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police have established a crime scene and an investigation into the cause of the crash has commenced.
