Two men charged with drug offences after alleged shooting in Sydney’s west
Police have charged two men and seized a large quantity of methylamphetamine following an investigation into a public place shooting incident in St Marys.

Police have charged two men with a range of drug and weapon offences, following an investigation into a public place shooting in Sydney’s west.
Officers from Penrith Region Enforcement Squad launched Strike Force Croy at the start of January to investigate the supply of drugs and organised crime in Sydney’s northwest.
During their inquiries, police became aware of a shooting incident on East Lane, St Mary’s that occurred last Friday.
There were no reported injuries from the incident.
At 2:30pm on Monday, officers arrested four men aged in their 20s during a vehicle stop on Alpha St, Blacktown.
The men were taken to Blacktown Police Station, where two of the men were released without charge.
Following their arrests, strike force officers executed search warrants at numerous homes in Jordan Springs, where they found 244g of methylamphetamine, electronic devices and clothing believed to have been used in the alleged shooting.
A 23-year-old man was charged with discharging firearms intended to cause grievous bodily harm, acquire firearms subject to prohibition order, supply prohibited drugs greater than commercial quantity and recklessly deal with proceeds of crime more than $5,000.
A 25-year-old man was charged with discharging a firearm intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
Both men were refused bail and appeared before Blacktown Local Court on Wednesday.
