Teenager arrested and charged after allegedly threatening a student with a knife at school in Seven Hills

A 16-year-old boy will face court today after allegedly threatening another student with a knife at a western Sydney high school, prompting a swift police response and multiple charges.

A teenager will face court today after allegedly threatening a student with a knife at a Western Sydney school.

Police were called to Hills Sports High School on Best Rd, Seven Hills about 9am on Thursday after a person had allegedly threatened a student with a knife.

Officers from the Blacktown Police Area Command arrested a 16-year-old boy and he was taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was charged with having a knife in a school, using a weapon to commit an indictable offence and two counts of stalking or intimidation.

He was refused bail and is set to appear before a Children’s Court on Friday.
