The domestic and international train stations at Sydney Airport have been cleared after a threat sparked a police operation.
Emergency services were called to the railway stations and locked down the platforms at the airport around 1pm on Sunday as a precaution after they received a threat.
A two-hour operation unfolded and police searched the station for the threat, but nothing was found.
NSW Police would not provide further information about the operation, including whether it was related to a bomb threat.
The train stations were cleared by police and reopened around 3pm.
