This is the woman accused of one of the most heinous crimes Sydney has ever seen, who police allege murdered and dismembered her husband.

Nirmeen Noufl’s picture can be revealed for the first time by The Daily Telegraph following her arrest over the death of Mamdouh – her partner of more than 30 years, with who she had eight children – last week.

Police allege Noufl killed her husband during an argument in their Greenacre home, before cutting his body into pieces with an electric saw and then dumping it in public bins across Sydney’s southwestern suburbs.

Noufl’s alleged crime remained a secret until last week, when she was charged by detectives following a joint investigation by NSW Police and the NSW Crime Commission, under Strike Force Tannerie.

Mamdouh was initially treated as a missing person by police, with news of his wife’s arrest last week shocking those who knew her.

A staff member at a business in the same street as the Belmore disability service Noufl operated said she last saw the accused killer some weeks ago.

“Maybe one or two months ago I last saw her … we would chat, she was nice, friendly, you know,” the woman said of Noufl.

“I honestly have no idea what her business was, that is something I could never work out, but I would see Nina and her daughter come and go … not anyone else, just those two.”

It’s understood the office space, on busy Burwood Rd, was rented in Mr Noufl’s name, although he was never seen at the location.

“I didn’t see him … just the women,” the local worker said.

Police sources said it would be alleged an international love triangle was the motive behind Noufl killing her husband.

In the months before Mamdouh’s death it is alleged his wife had discovered he had a girlfriend in Egypt – where they originated from – to who he had been sending money.

Police allege Noufl’s anger over her husband’s long-distance affair led to a confrontation between them, during which she killed him.

It is alleged that not only did she use power tools and kitchen implements to cut up his body and dispose of it, but that cleaning chemicals were then used to clean up his blood and DNA.

Homicide Squad boss Danny Doherty said following Noufl’s arrest that police would allege she was a woman “who manipulates people and manipulates the truth”.

The Daily Telegraph can reveal it will be alleged Noufl used her husband’s social media accounts to contact his girlfriend in Egypt and ask her to return money he had sent to her.

Friends of Mamdouh from the local Egyptian community gathered on Saturday night – just hours after NSW Police announced the arrest of Noufl – to pray for their slain friend.

One man, who said he was an extremely close friend of Mamdouh, said he was a “decent man”.

“This guy was very quiet and very decent. Even if we had an argument with him on any issues, even political issues, he did not argue. He liked to focus on his life, his family and his business,” he said.

“We are shocked. But what can we do? We don’t have any power or any information.”
