Inside the White Fox founder’s sprawling Vaucluse compound with underground wellness bunker
The $2bn fashion duo behind White Fox have stunned Sydney's elite with plans for a sprawling luxury compound that includes an underground bunker. See inside the mega-mansion.
The multi-millionaire eastern suburbs couple behind the $2 billion fashion empire, White Fox, are building a “compound” in one of Sydney’s most exclusive suburbs, that even the Harbour City’s richest residents are stunned over.
Fashion moguls Daniel Contos and Georgia Moore submitted newly-revised plans for their mega mansion across multiple sites at 4-6 Fisher Ave and 27-29A Vaucluse Rd, Vaucluse last week, as construction is well underway on the “elegantly designed, contemporary residence”.
The development comes after the power couple – operating one of Australia’s most recognised household names – splashed a massive $150 million on five properties in the city’s east.
The White Fox owners launched their clothing empire from their garage in 2013, before the international brand rose to $2bn heights, according to valuations last year as they continue to expand their grip on the fashion empires of the UK and US.
Planning documents for the property, dubbed Casa Del Sol, which boasts “spectacular panoramic views of the harbour and bridge” humbly described the vision for the site as simply a “single-dwelling house containing six bedrooms and two car spaces, with new landscaping, a swimming pool and tennis court”.

But the blueprints reveal stunning plans for an underground bunker featuring a cellar, and wellness centre, spa, massage room and beauty room dug into the sandstone deep under Vaucluse Rd.

On the ground floor, Casa Del Sol features a sunken pool and spa, as well as an outdoor dining and lounge area, and an indoor, as well as an outdoor, cinema.
Meanwhile a tennis court will replace what was previously a multimillion-dollar mansion.
Another floor includes plans for a formal living room and courtyard garden, as well as a scullery and indoor casual entertaining area.
While the second floor features five bedrooms with a library, study, dressing room and
Project architect Marney Passalaqua of Stafford Architecture said on social media the compound would include a “beautiful garden with an olive grove … and gym and wellness level”.
“Above the gym and wellness level we’ve got an amazing pool with cascading edge,” she said.
“So you can sit up there and have a sunset drink and watch the sunset over the harbour.”
The architects said the White Fox duo’s brief was to “celebrate a Mediterranean lifestyle on a site which embraces the full panorama and drama of the Sydney Harbour, and iconic Opera House and harbour bridge”.
“Casa del Sol befits its exotic name,” Stafford representatives said. “Designed as a series of interconnected external and internal spaces that offer the owners different experiences and a sense of connection and wellbeing.
“Embracing the serenity of the location, the design integrates spaces for both convivial gatherings and intimate conversations.
“With a focus on connecting with nature, the house invites the outdoors in, offering an irresistible invitation to immerse in the beauty that envelops it.”
Planners for the project, originally approved in April 2024 before a series of revisions to the plans, included a “tennis court” located on the entire previous lot of 29A Vaucluse Rd, as well as a small sitting area with open timber pergola.
In the latest plans, the developers also proposed the expansion of the “cellar and wellness floor level” to connect the gym and den to the new tennis court.
The multimillion-dollar development was approved by Woollahra Council in September, with planners arguing the proposal “does not have the potential for significant adverse impacts upon the local built and natural environment” and did not “have any significant adverse social and economic impacts”.
White Fox has been favourites of the Kardashians, Sofia Richie, Hailey Baldwin and Emily Ratajkowski.
