Has Jackie O found herself a new Knight? Radio queen spotted with ex-Newcastle footballer

Jackie O was spotted walking in Sydney’s east on Sunday with former NRL player Adam Muir, who she is understood to be dating.

Days after hinting she’s “content and happy”, radio queen Jackie O Henderson has been spotted with a new man.

Henderson, 50, was pictured strolling in the sunshine on Sunday afternoon at Gordons Bay, in the city’s east, with former NRL football player Adam Muir.

Muir, 53, who played for the Newcastle Knights and still lives in the coal city, looked right at home as he and Henderson walked and chatted together.

It is understood the pair was only recently introduced to each other through mutual friends.

The sighting of Henderson with a handsome man came hot on the heels of Henderson sharing on the Her Best Life podcast she co-hosts with her bestie and manager Gemma O’Neill that she’s “very happy”.

Discussing relationships and dating, the KISS FM star revealed she had previously struggled with intimacy, but that was behind her now, and she feels she is in “such a good place”.

“I feel like I’ve probably let go of everything and I just feel so content and happy right now,” Henderson said on the podcast last week.

“When you have no men troubles in your life, God, life’s good. It just feels really freeing.”

Muir, who won a premiership with the Knights in 1997, before going on for a stint at the South Sydney Rabbitohs, now works in the mining industry, based in the Hunter Valley.

“I have been in touch with the Knights since I was about 18... There has been a lot of fond memories and I was lucky enough to come right through the grades with a few of the good players, like Matty Johns in particular,” Muir said in a blog on the Knights website.

Henderson was previously married to Lee Henderson, with whom she shares teenage daughter Kitty, until they split in 2018.

A representative for Henderson was contacted for comment.
