A man is on the run after a hit and run, which left a four-year-old boy with a head injury in Lavington.

A man is on the run after a hit-and-run, which left a four-year-old boy with a head injury on the NSW and Victorian border.
At 7am, emergency services responded to reports a child had been hit by a white ute on Dick Rd in Lavington, with the driver fleeing the scene.
The boy was treated at the scene for a head injury, and abrasions to his arms and legs,
before being taken to Albury Base Hospital.
His condition is unknown.
A statement by NSW Police said, “police would like to speak to the driver of a white utility which was seen in the area around the time of the incident, as they may be able to assist with investigations.”
Dick Rd has been closed between Cheyenne Dr and Boomerang Rd.
