‘Call him master’: Mark Latham’s 64th birthday spent with escorts

NSW MP Mark Latham spent the night of his birthday this year with two sex workers, purchased by his then-girlfriend, who requested the escorts call him “master”.

New text messages and invoices reveal Mr Latham’s ex-partner paid for two escorts for his 64th birthday.

Mark Latham spent the night of his 64th birthday in a hotel room with two escorts, with his then-girlfriend requesting they refer to the NSW MP as “master”.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal Mr Latham’s former partner Nathalie Matthews arranged the sex workers from a leading Sydney agency and provided them with details of the couple’s hotel room in the CBD.

A text message from Ms Matthews to the escort service, sent on Mr Latham’s birthday in February reads: “He suggested some involvement from me. I was planning to just watch — is that okay?”

“Let’s refer to him as ‘Master’. Please let the ladies know,” Ms Matthews wrote.

The texts referring to Mr Latham as “master” can be revealed following Ms Matthews’ application for an Apprehended Violence Order, in which she alleges he engaged in “sexual abuse and coercion.”

Ms Matthews claims Mr Latham pressed her “to engage in sexual acts with others” and demanding she call him “master”. Mr Latham denies her claims. The matter will be heard in court this month.

On Friday February 28, Mr Latham’s birthday, the Upper House MP participated in a Budget Estimates session in state parliament, specifically relating to the Local Government portfolio.

He then checked into the Fullerton Hotel after 5pm, before Ms Matthews arrived with the escorts.

This masthead has sighted three separate payments from Ms Matthews to the escort service on the night of Mr Latham’s birthday, for amounts of $2,750, $1,375 and $440.

It comes after sex worker and comedian Carly Electric revealed to this masthead she had been contacted by Mr Latham and Ms Matthews on social media, believing they had desires of a threesome that never eventuated.

“I believe Mark already knew who I was and told Nathalie to message me. She just came out of nowhere and it’s like they were love bombing,” Ms Electric said.

Speaking at an extraordinary press conference on Saturday in Camden, Mr Latham said the allegations against him were “not matters of public interest”, before he stated “I don’t think anyone gives two hoots about my sex life.”

Mr Latham was later approached to comment about the events on his 64th birthday.

In a post on X on Saturday afternoon, Mr Latham said the inquiry from this masthead was “an outrage” and his “mates are so jealous they keep saying it’s my shout every round.”
