A Bondi fitness trainer who stormed into his ex-girlfriend’s house and went through her phone as she slept – before grabbing and shaking her – later bombarded her with two dozen abusive texts in one day.
Jackson Petersen, 36, faced Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday, pleading guilty to one count of domestic violence related common assault and two counts of stalking and intimidation.
Petersen was charged in relation to the 2024 encounter with a former girlfriend who Petersen had continued seeing casually after a break-up in March.
Police facts state the pair had been drinking together at the woman’s house in Queens Park when an argument broke out, prompting Petersen to leave.
Several hours later Petersen returned, entering the home through an unlocked door while the woman took a nap, the facts continue.
While she was sleeping, Petersen went through her phone.
At around 5:30pm, the woman woke to “Petersen’s face close to her face”, before “he grabbed her and shook her”, and began yelling at her, the facts state.
“You’re a fucking wh — e, a f — ing liar, you've been f——ing all these guys,” he said to the woman.
“I’ve been here 45 minutes going through your phone and found all this stuff in your phone.”
The next day Petersen continued his explosive tirade over text, subjecting her to 23 profanity laden and misogynistic messages, the agreed facts revealed.
“I’m sure in the future your horny slut self will be gagging for some more d--k from me at one point so I’ll wait for that but trust me you will not get a reply,” one of the messages said.
“By the way a woman’s p--sy looks exactly how she treated her, maybe if you hadn't been beaten up by thousand of old men you might have a nice one,” another said.
“Filthy ruined p--sy filthy honey ass skinny rat body, not one single thing about ur body or face at all is real and you wonder why you cant find someone who truly loves u.”
“U can dress up a pig as much as u want, but it doesn't change the fact that p--sy looks like a f——ng dropped meat pie.”
The woman went to the police on the same day and participated in a formal interview.
On Tuesday the court heard Petersen’s matters needed more time to obtain both a psychiatric report and sentencing assessment prior to sentencing.
He will remain on bail and will return to Downing Centre Local Court on August 8 for sentence.
