A teenage boy has been hospitalised after suffering a stab wound in Sydney’s north-west on Thursday evening.
Emergency services were called to a home on Praha Place, Kellyville, around 7pm where they found a 16-year-old boy with a stab wound to his back.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Initial inquiries suggest the stabbing did not occur at the residence, with police now working to determine the original location and what led to the incident.
Detectives from The Hills Police Area Command are leading the investigation and are urging anyone with information — including dashcam footage from the area — to come forward.
