SCHOOL holidays are around the corner and hundreds of activities are set to take place across the territory to fill the three week break.
The jam-packed calendar of events covers a broad spectrum of entertainment preferences for students of varying ages and past-time preferences from flying a drone, to ceramic making.
To kick-off school holidays, head to Alice Springs Brown St Disco on June 25.
The disco will be held from 5.30-12pm every Saturday and a BBQ dinner will be complimentary to attendance.
If in need of a cool-down, Casuarina Pool in Darwin is open on Monday June 27 for water games and ball sports.
Those participating in the exercise-based activities will be fuelled with food from Healthy Living NT.
Katherine has catered to the youngsters these holidays, with a plethora of kid-friendly activities on July 6.
A petting zoo and morning tea will take place at Finch Cafe between 8:30-10:30am. Afternoon kick-ons commence at YMCA for a 4:30pm game of laser tag.
Thursday July 14 is the start of Palmerston’s annual Youth Festival.
Art, culture, sport and music will frame the occasion, alongside a healthy dose of competition.
Musicians will battle it out on stage for the Suburban Sounds Selections followed by the Geekfest Top End Cosplay Comp, where cosplayers will put their best character displays forward to face a panel of judges and stage runway.
Activities start on Saturday June 25 and end July 17.
