Mr Simic said he had been friends with Mr Neal for about seven years and remained close.

Mr Simic said the last message Jack sent to him said: “Brothers for life cause love doesn’t die when we do — I’ll love you even after I’m dead.”
He said his thoughts were with Jack’s family, especially his sister who “held a special place in his heart”.

Jack’s partner Sehvan Joseph Mick-Browne said he was heartbroken to lose Jack.
“My heart is smashed into pieces from this nasty world that denied you to stay with me,” he wrote on social media.
“Sadly taken from us too soon.”
